Inspired by cranky's almond ew-ku. I bought a big bag of organic baby carrots a few days ago, fully expecting them to last at least a couple weeks (judging by the expiration date), but they were so slimy and icky after one bite that I had to toss the whole bag. :( "Fresh" baby carrots Why so slimy...
